Composer

I have been writing music for as long as I have been able to play the piano. My colourful imagination and creative talent have enabled me to compose music regularly, from film scores through to pop songs. I majored in composition at university, exploring the capabilities and constraints of the orchestra, and have experience writing for a whole host of instruments. I draw influences from many sources, and I am particularly inspired by the work of George Gershwin and Leonard Bernstein. My knack of writing catchy melodies has led to success in composing jingles, something that was recognised by my composition tutor at
university.

I am also offering my services to schools in the form of producing specially commissioned compositions and arrangements for both extra-curricular activities, as well as music in the classroom. These can be tailored to the needs and abilities of the schools' pupils. I am also able to visit the school in question to offer assistance and advice, as some primary schools are without a specialist music teacher and/or department.
