I have been playing at a variety of occasions for over ten years now, and since graduating from university in 2006, have been entertaining guests at weddings, birthdays, parties etc, on a regular basis.
I play piano most Fridays and Saturdays in MacLeods restaurant at the Coniston Hotel, an extremely popular destination hotel that prides itself as one of the top wedding venues in the North of England. Through my many years of playing, I have learnt how to play to my audience. Starting out with classic jazz standards and easy listening favourites, I enjoy slipping in a few pop, rock and classical numbers to suit the atmosphere or occasion.
I have played at functions both as a soloist, and with a small band, consisting of vocals, keyboard and drums. So whether you are looking for a lively set from a quality band and singer for a birthday or wedding party, or if it is a subtle piece of background piano music at a wedding reception or christening, all your musical tastes and needs will be catered for.
In order to create the perfect repertoire for my clients, I have an extensive list of songs that can be viewed through the link below. This allows my clients to select their favourite numbers so I can put together personalised set lists to make the occasion extra special. I am more than happy to learn new music for you too, at no extra cost, if I don't appear to have it in my collection.
I am currently offering all my wedding clients a complimentary CD which I will put together myself, featuring around 15-20 minutes of the piano music as played on the day, as a little keepsake from your wedding. This is a particuarly nice touch if I have played at your ceremony.
